Not a studio portrait. The one on your phone, taken on the sofa, with the duvet in the background and the light all wrong. We cut it out, set it into the design and send you a proof before it goes anywhere near a printer.

Nothing on the bauble is fixed. Say what you want in the personalisation notes or send us a message before you order, and we will design it and show you a proof before anything is printed.

Three steps, then it is out of your hands.

Step one

Send the photo

Order on Etsy and upload any clear photo of your pet. A phone picture is fine. If the crop looks wrong, we will message you before anything is printed.

Step two

Tell us the name and year

Add the name exactly as you want it to read, and the year you want on the front. Both are set on a ribbon banner under the photo.

Step three

We print and post

Your bauble is printed, checked and packed in a gift box with ribbon, then posted to you or straight to the person receiving it.

Every gift shop has a labrador and a tabby. Almost none has your pet.

Breed-shaped ornaments only work if your pet looks like a breed. Owners of mixed breeds, moggies and everything in between get handed a rough approximation and are expected to be pleased with it.

Printing from your own photo solves that. The bauble looks like your pet because it is your pet, whatever the mix, whatever the ears are doing.

The name is the whole brief. A keepsake is not a novelty item that survives one December and goes in the bin in January. It is the thing that comes out of the box every year and gets hung near the top.

That sets the standard for the acrylic, the print and the packaging.

KeepsGifts is a UK shop making personalised Christmas baubles for pet owners. We started with pets because that is where the gap was widest, and with mixed breeds because that is where it was widest of all.

Everything is sold through Etsy, so your order, your payment and your messages sit inside Etsy's protection rather than ours.

Before you order

Can I change the design?
Yes, all of it. The colours, the wording, the snowflakes and foliage, the layout, how many pets are on it. Tell us what you want when you order, or message us first if you would rather talk it through, and we will send a proof before printing.
What sort of photo works best?
A photo taken in daylight, with your pet facing the camera and filling most of the frame. Dark, blurry or heavily zoomed photos lose detail once printed. If yours will not work, we will say so and ask for another before printing.
How long does it take to arrive?
Baubles are made to order. Current production and delivery times are shown on each Etsy listing, and they lengthen as December approaches, so the listing is always the accurate answer.
Can I put two pets on one bauble?
Yes. Send one photo with both pets in it, or two separate photos and tell us in the personalisation notes. Both names can be added underneath.
Can I send it straight to someone as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address as the delivery address at checkout on Etsy. Everything arrives boxed with ribbon, and no prices are included in the parcel.
What if something arrives damaged?
Message us through Etsy with a photo and we will replace it. Because each bauble is personalised, returns for a change of mind are not accepted, but anything wrong with the item itself is ours to fix.
Can I order again next year?
Yes, and you do not need to resend anything. Message us with your original order number and we will reuse the photo with the new year on it.

Last posting dates matter.

Leave your email and we will tell you when the last Christmas posting date is close, so your bauble arrives in time.
